Tournament-Level Orange, Green, & Yellow Ball Longfellow Natick Tennis Club
Designed exclusively for tournament players ages 11 & under, the Junior NETA Camp delivers elite-level training for competitive juniors ready to take their game to the next level. Campers must be active tournament players and eligible to compete at the level (Orange, Green, or Yellow Ball) in which they register.

For over 50 years, the Longfellow Clubs’ New England Tennis Academy (NETA) has been one of the premier training environments in the region. Competitive players from all over New England attend NETA Camps for the high level of coaching, exceptional match play opportunities, and the positive, challenging environment that develops complete athletes and confident competitors.
Guided by New England’s finest coaching team—including Laury Hammel, Art Coleman, Xiao Li, Joe Lisi, John Henry Reeves, and Phil Parrish—your junior will receive a highly structured and impactful training experience designed to accelerate growth and competitive success.
What Your Camper Will Learn:
- Elite Coaching from Joe Lisi (Natick Junior Program Director) and John Henry Reeves (Junior NETA Coach)
- Modern stroke development using advanced drills designed for competitive play
- Footwork, conditioning, and agility training to build athleticism and resilience
- Video stroke analysis to evaluate mechanics and improve technical efficiency
- Plyometric, coordination, and strength exercises for full-body athletic development
- Singles and doubles strategy, focusing on attack patterns, neutral ball decisions, and defensive skills
- Shot selection and tactical awareness for match play confidence
- Daily match play & competitive games, with UTR match opportunities available to support ranking growth
Typical Day at Camp
- Warm-up and dynamic movement preparation
- Hand–eye coordination, footwork, and racquet-control drills
- Technical skill development and theme-of-the-day focus
- Competitive drilling that reinforces daily concepts
- Break/Hydration
- Competitive games designed to apply the theme of the day
- Lunch (full-day only)
- Serve and return technique + targeted serving progressions
- Match play (singles and/or doubles)
- Break/Hydration
- Afternoon tournament-style or round robin play
